Welcome
The Community Connections Center is always welcoming to everyone! With numerous activities and events to promote socialization and community, we strive to keep you fulfilled & connected!
Community Connections of Lavaca County formerly known as the Lavaca County Senior Citizens Program was created in 1974 to better suit the needs of the elderly and homebound in our community. For years we have provided hot meals and an inviting atmosphere to visit, grow, and spend time together. CCLC has two locations... 326 S. LaGrange Street in Hallettsville and 105 Kvinta Drive in Yoakum. Our friendly staff is always accommodating and we call everyone family when you're with us.

One of our main concerns is your well being mentally, physically, and nutritionally. We serve Lavaca County with over 1000 meals per week and our transit gives hundreds of rides per month!
We offer basic help with what we can including blood pressure checks, nutritional meals, and transit to and from your doctor visit if needed. We can also help point you in the right direction as far as resources go! Just ask!

Community Connections receives funding from Federal and State programs, local fundraisers, grants, and our Meals on Wheels and Transit programs, but a lot of help comes from the generous donors in our community whom we are extremely grateful for.
