Donations and gifts from the community are greatly appreciated to help make Community Connections the vibrant community it has become. Our patrons look forward to spending time with each other playing games, being creative, and just mingling with their peers which is only made possible with your donations and gifts. We maintain annual contracts with TxDOT, Health and Human Services, Area Agency on Aging, and the Texas Department of Agriculture for monthly expenditure reimbursements, as well as apply for grants to assist with operating and capital expenses. We also receive donations from individuals and organizations throughout the County and hold fundraiser events throughout the year. Without these grants, contracts, and donations, this Program wouldn’t exist. We are extremely grateful for every dollar we receive.
Currently, we have 5 meal delivery vehicles and 7 transit vehicles. Our vehicles are purchased with grant money or through procurement between Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission and Texas Department of Transportation.
